| Picture lighting not only provides a functional lighting, but also a good mood lighting. Both spotlights and normal picture lamps can be used. Many picture lamps have halogen bulbs as a light source. Remember that halogen bulbs must have protective glass, otherwise the light can cause the colours in the picture to fade. |

It is preferable to have a weak lamp by the TV. If you watch television in a dark room the contrast between the bright screen and the dark room can cause the eyes to become tired.
